The first Pearl Snare of the Week, the JJ-1355 Joey Jordison Signature Snare, has all of the fierce attack and crisp articulation of the Slipknot drummer to whom it pays homage.
Joey's precise and powerful style has won him fans far beyond metal. The Joey Jordison Signature Snare with its 6-1/2" x 13", 1mm steel shell that can be best described as a "power piccolo," with its high-pitch bite and chest-thumping depth, thanks to the deeper shell. Black Super Hoops and Masters double-ended lugs complement the black shell decorated with Slipknot logos. The drum's SR-017 strainer features a vertical pull action for ideal snare-to-head contact using minimal tension, resulting in superior snare response at all playing levels.
